The
first phase of the library parking lot expansion project is now
complete and the upper lot has reopened, providing some nearby
access to the library. The lower lot is closed with no access from the
overflow parking area on Meanley Drive.

Odi Button Design Finalists | |

Winning Button Design
Thanks
to all who participated in the contest. Here is the winning Odi button
design for this year's Where's Odi program. Odi the coyote is the San
Diego Library mascot. This winning design will be made into buttons to
give out to EVERY visitor who finds Odi hidden in our library in July.

On May 19, a
large and enthusiastic audience enjoyed the spirited performance of
pianist Dmitry Kirichenko and clarinetist Vladimir Goltsman playing from
a variety of composers that displayed the beauty and versatility of the
clarinet-piano duo. | |  |
“The
Pleasure of Your Company” concert series, sponsored by SRFOL,
presents the Cantare Duo, comprised of violinist Alyze Dreiling and
guitarist Robert
Wetzel, on Sunday, June 23, at
2:30 pm. While there is no charge, your donations are

Grace's Book Nook
Visit Grace’s
Book Nook, the volunteer-run used bookstore in our library, open Monday
through Saturday, for great bargains on gently used and nearly new
books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, and more.
While you are here, pick up some duck feed to feed our resident ducks at Evan's pond.
Your
tax-deductible donations of “gently used” books are always welcome and
can be brought to the library’s circulation desk. Or, a staff
member or volunteer can assist in transferring your boxes or bags of
books into the library. At this time we are
especially seeking donations of fiction and nonfiction for
adults. What an easy way to support our library!

Maker Space Now Open at Library!

IDEA Lab at our library is now open by appointment on Tuesdays, 1 – 4
pm. Library patrons can use one of the 3D printers or other
exciting machines. 3D printer materials are funded by Scripps
