Back in the dawn of time—when dinosaurs walked the Earth—it was easy to check a book out of a library. All anyone had to do was take the desired book up to the librarian's desk, present it to the librarian, get the book stamped, and take the book home. Alas, in today's Age of Electronic Services, in order to accomodate a vast assortment of library services, checking a book out of the library isn't quite as simple as it used to be. The benefits provided by today's library are amazing; but simple actions such as checking out a book are now a bit more complicated.

To assist library patrons in the process of obtaining a book for checkout, Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library member Diane Rider has created a one-page convenient guide to help you select a book for checkout and have it automatically delivered to your favorite library branch—which we daresay is the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center.
