Our library is a special place…one that provides us with the environment and facilities to experience ideas and events outside our normal activities. We can come to relax in a quiet place with a good book or a fascinating magazine article. We can enjoy a concert or an entertaining presentation by a local author. There are computer resources and a wide variety of databases for information and professional research. Our varied children’s programs are fun, educational, and stimulating. Plus, there are bargains galore to be had in Grace’s Book Nook, our used-book store.

You and your family love to spend time here and make use of the wonderful resources. Why not make a more permanent mark to benefit future readers? By requesting a bookplate, our neighborhood branch of the library will benefit with a new book for our collection, and if you choose, you can use this special donation to honor a loved one in a unique way.

If you select this donation option, we will place a distinctive bookplate in a new book with the names of the donor and the person being honored (a sample bookplate is shown, as affixed to a book, on the left side of this web page). In addition, a note will be sent to the honoree advising of your kind gift.

Any donation amount will be appreciated; however, the minimum for an individual bookplate is $25.00. Additional bookplates may be placed for each successive $25 gift. Although individual book titles cannot be specified, you may indicate a particular subject area and age category for new book purchases. The City’s Matching Book Fund will augment your donation.
